HDC Member Highlight: Imagine Housing
Over the last 35 years, Imagine Housing has developed apartment communities across the Eastside, providing an affordable home and supportive services to over 1,400 people with low-and-moderate incomes. As the only Eastside-based non-profit provider of affordable housing, Imagine Housing’s vision is an Eastside with interconnected and welcoming communities where all people can live, learn, work and play.
In addition to developing and preserving affordable housing, Imagine Housing offers on-site, individualized services to help residents take the next step in transforming their lives. Imagine Housing case managers serve as community focal points and critical links to external service partners and internal resources, tailored to the specific needs of the residents.
As a long-standing member of the Housing Development Consortium, Imagine Housing is grateful for the word HDC does in bringing together industry leaders to enact change in our region. Yi Zhao, Executive Director of Imagine Housing, said, “I know we have many HDC members pushing the boundaries and innovating alongside each other, to try to do better. This is what HDC and all of its members are about, we are always trying to do better.”
